MISSION
F1 Ranking provides information about the fans'
preferences regarding drivers, teams, team managers, engines,
tyres, circuits and legends. This information is generated
directly through the fans without interference from any
organisation.
F1 Ranking is an independent organization. This ensures
that both the fans as well as their chosen favourites
are registered in such a way that the rankings are fully
transparent and are a true reflection of the fans' input.
Through its international rankings, F1 Ranking’s
objective is to set the standard in the world of ranking
and thereby bring Formula1 fans, teams and sponsors closer
together.
HISTORY
F1 Ranking was founded in 2005 with F1ranking.com.
For a long time a majority of fans showed a need for independent,
reliable, worldwide rankings. F1 Ranking is part
of World Ranking.
World Ranking exists for over five years and generates
rankings for different sports. During the past years many
enthusiastic fans from all over the world supported the
rankings. Together they have dedicated their time and
energy towards building this "new standard".
Today the World Ranking team knows a supporting network
of over a hundred 'Associated Sites' and newsgroups.
F1 Ranking states clear that it has no relationship
nor cooperation with the official Formula 1 organisation
or FiA.
